Cory Brosch, Vice President, Clinical Director at Phoenix House, delivered the Presidential Luncheon keynote address on April 13 to hundreds of attendees at the 33rd Annual California Association for Alcohol and Drug Education (CAADE) Conference. The weekend long event was held in Newport Beach and offered a variety of presentations and educational workshops highlighting drug trends and various treatment modalities. Brosch’s presentation “Addiction on Top of Addiction: The Link Between Technology Use and Substance Abuse” shared the latest research and anecdotal evidence of the teens residing at Phoenix House California’s Lake View Terrace location and the way their social media and video game use has impacted their mental health and recovery process.
