Phoenix House California’s Venice location celebrated the three-year anniversary of the Phoenix House Venice Alumni Club (PHVAC) on Saturday, June 29. Paul Jones, OD/counselor and founder of PHVAC said, “There was a record turn-out of 45 graduates! For the first time since the formation of PHVAC in 2016, there were more graduates than active patients.”
The graduates pitched in to purchase food for the event, which included hot dogs and ice cream. New PHVAC members were honored with plaques for attending more than four monthly meetings and several of the graduates were honored for having achieved one year of sobriety after graduating from Phoenix House Venice. We congratulate all graduates for their hard work and outstanding accomplishments!
