Phoenix House California Is Expanding Programs In Orange County

Phoenix House Now Operating Sobering Center at the Be Well Campus in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, CA, June 19, 2022—Phoenix House California is honored to announce our selection by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to begin operations of the 12-bed Sobering Center at the Be Well Campus in Orange County. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the contract funded by the Orange County Health Care Agency for Phoenix House to begin providing services at the Center located at 265 S. Anita Drive in Orange, CA on Thursday July 22, 2022, following the transfer of services from the current provider. Additional substance abuse treatment services that will be offered By Phoenix House at the same campus   will include a 12 bed Withdrawal Management Program, 15 bed Residential Program for Transitional Age Youth ages 18-26 (TAY) Men and a 15 bed Women’s Program. Programs will offer treatment for co-occurring disorders in additional to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). While services are supported by MediCal and Drug MediCal funding streams through a contract with the Orange County Health Care Agency, some private insurance coverage will also be accepted.

These new services will augment the full continuum of services available through the larger Phoenix House organization, including youth Behavioral Health Interventions Services across 60 schools in Orange County, Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use services for youth, and Outpatient and Residential Treatment for adults.  To learn more about services on the Be Well or Fruit Street campus please contact our Admissions Team at (657) 933-4101 or visit us at www.phoenixhouseca.org/contact.
