Peer Mentor Program

A mentor is someone you look to for guidance and support

Phoenix House values the lived experience of Peer Mentors, who have walked the road of recovery and know its dangers and pitfalls. In Orange County, Peer Mentors are available to those currently enrolled in treatment programs. They offer support and assistance in accessing services, such as referrals and linkages to housing, vocational & educational support, help with medical appointments, and more. Peer mentors provide advocacy and guidance, helping to develop life skills, and supporting lifelong recovery.

Mentorship is important in the addiction recovery process because it gives you an opportunity to learn from those who have walked your path. Igniting hope, inspiration, and fulfilling your true potential.

Phoenix House Orange County treatment programs are licensed, and Drug-Medi-Cal certified by the California Department of Health Care Services and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Residential Facilities (CARF). Services are supported by contracts with the County of Orange Health Care Agency and other public and private funders.
