Denice Hutner, LMFT

Senior Program Director, Victorville Campus

Denice Hutner, LMFT, brings more than 20 years of experience working with diverse populations, including more than a decade in community mental health, nonprofit leadership and behavioral health services. Her expertise includes clinical operations, program development, staff supervision, workforce development, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Phoenix Houses of California, Ms. Hutner served as an executive director with oversight of a comprehensive range of behavioral health services, more than $10 million in organizational budgets and a workforce of more than 80 employees. Her responsibilities included day-to-day operations, fiscal management, human resources, staffing, regulatory and contractual compliance, program development and quality assurance, with a focus on maintaining high-quality services and developing strong, accountable teams.

Ms. Hutner also serves as an adjunct professor in a graduate Marriage and Family Therapy program, providing clinical education and mentorship to emerging clinicians.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis in social work and a master’s degree in psychology. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Behavioral Health Management.
