Julian Alberto-Delgado joined Phoenix House in July 2019 as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Kern Crossroads Facility in Bakersfield, an in-custody program for youth and in October 2021, he was promoted to In-Custody Program Director.

Mr. Alberto has seven years of experience working in behavioral health; displaying unique, complex, and versatile personality strengths and making a powerful impression on those around him. He values and thrives on developing authentic relationships with others, whether helping the youth in therapy or assisting his team members. Through concrete steps to realize his goals and make a lasting positive impact, Mr. Alberto aspires to become a competent and influential therapist and leader in behavioral health. His passion is in providing guidance and support to help those around him divulge their inner potential for professional and personal growth.

Mr. Alberto attended California State University, Bakersfield and earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2017. In 2020, Mr. Alberto received his Master’s in Counseling Psychology, pursuing dual licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. He also obtained a Master’s in Administration in 2021.
