Brad de Koning

Brad de Koning is managing partner and co-founder of Mercury Partners, an investment company focused on acquiring and operating founder-owned businesses. In 2017, his firm acquired DirectMed Imaging, where he serves as chairman and chief executive officer. DirectMed provides high-quality medical imaging parts and services and has established itself as a trusted leader in the healthcare sector.

Prior to this, Mr. de Koning was chairman and CEO of L.A. Spas, a manufacturer of swim spas, hot tubs and gazebos, which he successfully led until its sale in December 2014. His earlier career includes roles as managing director at Sage Capital Partners, a private equity firm; an associate of Trident Capital, a venture capital firm; and an analyst in the Office of the Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Mr. de Koning has served on the board of Phoenix House California since 2008, contributing his expertise in business operations and strategic growth to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. His long-standing commitment to the organization reflects his dedication to improving access to recovery services and strengthening community-based programs

Mr. de Koning is also a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
