Yolanda Lewis, LMFT

Yolanda Lewis joined Phoenix House California in 2017 as a QA Specialist and then Clinical Supervisor and since 2018 has served as Program Director in Venice. As Program Director she leads and directs the overall management, organization, strategy and operations of the substance use disorder residential services and ensures the safety and wellbeing of clients by developing and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. She provides oversight and coordination of efforts to ensure the program meets or exceeds performance standards as established by agency regulatory bodies and other agency stakeholders.
Ms. Lewis has over 27 years of experience in behavioral health service agencies, with skills in the following areas: Clinical Supervision; Department of Mental Health and HIPAA Compliance; Individual, Group and Family Therapy; Quality Assurance and Compliance Review; Team Management and growth/guidance; Staff Productivity Management; Audit Documentation; Electronic Health Record Training; Tailored Therapeutic Services for Children with Mental Illness; and MFT Intern Supervision. As a member of Phoenix House’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, Ms. Lewis has extensive knowledge of culturally competent services and diverse client/staff populations.
Prior to joining Phoenix House, she worked at Pacific Clinics, Childnet Youth and Family Services, Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center in Inglewood as well as other behavioral health service providers. Ms. Lewis holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and B.A. in Psychology from California State University Northridge.
